RJ45 Cat 5e lockable
M25 panel feed-through with lockable RJ45 socket and cylinder lock, nickel-plated brass housing.
The secured network connection of the range. Behind the unscrewed protective cap sits a cylinder lock that first has to be opened with the key and removed before a patch cable can be plugged into the RJ45 Cat 5e socket. An open LAN port on the machine thus turns from a way in into a controlled access point.
The version is used on machines in publicly accessible areas and in network segments with elevated IT security requirements, where an unsupervised Ethernet connection is not acceptable. Mounting size M25 instead of M22 because of the locking mechanism, housing in nickel-plated brass, protective cap in clear anodised aluminium. The external lanyard fastening keeps the cap with the housing even when a patch cable is permanently plugged in.

Supports the EU Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230
The lockable version can be secured against unauthorised or accidental plugging. It thus helps to impede manipulation via the connection of hardware at safety-relevant interfaces – one aspect of the "protection against corruption" under Annex III, 1.1.9 of the new EU Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 (applicable from 20 January 2027).
Note: responsibility for the machine's conformity lies with the manufacturer. The lockable connector can support such a protective measure but does not replace your own risk assessment.
